This is a song that doesn’t play too much during the game, but always brings bad news when it does. Like most of the ‘remasterings’ I’ve done, this stays true to the original, but I think it sounds quite a bit better.

I’ve decided to start working on recreating the Ogre Battle 64 soundtrack to use more modern sounds and improve the music in other ways as well. “Notice of Death” is played frequently throughout the game between scenes, and felt like a good way to start this whole thing.
